Our summer officially ended about a month ago. I'm just now getting around to blogging about it & posting pictures (no surprise there). Before school started for Garrett, we tried to squeeze in some last minute fun with a few of our friends.

| First Day of School! |
This year Garrett is actually attending two different preschools. On Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, he attends Cherry Tree Elementary in their Early Childhood program from 8:05-10:35. Here he receives group speech therapy and any other developmental skills that they feel are necessary for him to succeed once he reached Kindergarten. There are only 3 other kids in his class and 2 teachers, so he receives lots of one on one time. On Tuesdays & Thursdays he attends Talking Time Learning Center from 8:30-11:30. Talking Time is a preschool that has a large focus on speech delays. He attended there over the summer once a week & we saw such a huge progress that we decided to keep him there for the rest of the school year. He gets 30 minutes of one on one speech therapy each week. He has 4 other kids in his class & 2 teachers, so lots of individual attention here as well. Going from 1 day a week of school up to FIVE days a week has been a big adjustment for Garrett, as well as for me. But, I think we have finally gotten into a nice little routine and Garrett LOVES going to school each day!

I don't know if you will receive my comment but I'm going to try and send it. I was pleased to read that you were making peace with the five mornings a week school and then remembered that Sawyer woke you up early every morning anyway. Tam
