Trip to Cincinnati

This weekend we decided to take a little "mini" vacation to Cincinnati.  We left early Friday morning and headed to Newport Aquarium.  Garrett is obsessed with fish, turtles and pretty much any other water animals so we thought that he would have a blast.  We were right and he pretty much ran from exhibit to exhibit throughout the entire aquarium.  We ended up making it thru the entire thing in a little over an hour, which was great except that we had planned on spending the whole day there!  So, to kill a little time before checking into the hotel, we had lunch and then took Garrett to a Game Works that was next door.  He loved playing all the arcade games, especially a racing game with Adam in which he rode in a Hummer that actually moved and shook along with the course.  After we had spent a fortune in tokens we were off for ice cream and then to the hotel to get in some swimming before dinner.  Garret was a little scared of the pool at first, but once he warmed up a little, he was jumping in without hesitation.  The next day it was more swimming and then we were headed back home.  All in all it was a great little trip and we're so glad that we decided to do something like this before the next little guy arrives.  Enjoy the pics :)
