The World of Garrett...

I have fallen so far behind on this blog!  I promise to try to stay on top of things a little better and to update more frequently!  So, what's been going on in the world of Garrett?  Well, he is still in preschool one day a week for 4 hours and absolutely LOVES it :)  He is all signed up to return in the fall and he will be going 2 days a week at that time.  He has begun speech therapy one day a week for an hour to help increase his vocabulary.  He actually says tons of words, but seems to have difficulty combining them into sentences.  His therapists name is Jennifer and he loves it when she comes over.  We have already noticed quite a bit of improvement since she began coming about a month ago. 

Garrett is REALLY into dinosaurs right now and loves to run around and growl like one :)  He also loves his baby brother.  If he can't see Sawyer, he is always asking about him and where he is.  He is so sweet with him and brings him toys to play with all the time.  This past weekend, Garrett had his first overnight visit away from Mommy & Daddy.  He stayed with my mom and had a great time, although he was a little clingy the next day.  His new favorite activity is painting.  He loves to sit at the table and paint pictures for us :)

We are still going through a picky eating phase with Garrett.  He loves to eat french fries, chicken nuggets, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, Nutri Grain bars, waffles, popsicles, pretzels, and crackers.  Anything else is usually a "no-go" so we are continuing to try to encourage him to try new things.

It's hard to believe that our "baby" is going to be 3 in a few months!
