One month!

Its so hard to believe that Sawyer is already one month (plus two days) old!  Time is really flying by.  It has definitely been a joyous, yet challenging month for us.  We discovered that Sawyer most likely has a milk protein allergy (like Garrett did as an infant), which has required him to be placed on hypoallergenic formula (which I also refer to as liquid gold, due to its price).  He also has reflux and has been placed on some medication to help with that as well.  Now that we have finally gotten all of that figured out, he seems to be happier overall, although he still has some inconsolable times during the day.  He is changing so much and becoming more alert each day.  We are still not getting much sleep at night, as he prefers to eat about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and it usually takes him at least 30 minutes to eat & then a little longer to go back to sleep.  So, I'm sleeping in about 1 1/2 to 2 hour increments.  Hopefully he will begin to stretch out his feeding times very soon.  We had family pictures taken a few weeks ago, which I will post soon.  It was QUITE the experience trying to get a toddler & a newborn to cooperate, but we did manage to get a few good shots :)
