Sweet Sixteen!

Garrett is now 16-months old (plus 2 days)! He had his first visit to the Dentist this week. Overall the visit went pretty well. He was very excited to see new toys (in the waiting room) and to flirt with new girls (the receptionists). He also seemed pretty excited to meet Dr. Michelle (the Pediatric Dentist). However, all of that changed pretty quickly once he realized that Dr. Michelle wanted to look in his mouth. He was not happy about that and screamed until he realized that he could just clamp his mouth shut, which he promptly did. Dr. Michelle was very patient with him and managed to pry his mouth open to look at his teeth. He is still getting in his top incisors & molars, although they are about halfway through the gums. He has his bottom incisors & molars left to come in. Everything checked out ok and we will return in 6 months for his first cleaning! Wow, I can't believe that he will be old enough for his teeth to be cleaned!!! Here are a few snapshots of Garrett's first visit at the Dentist....
