SIX months!?!

How on Earth have SIX months gone by since Sawyer was born?  I can't believe he is half-way to being a one year old!  He had his physical last week and weighed in at 17 pounds 4 ounces, 27 7/8" long, and his head was 45cm.  He is growing like a weed!  He is currently able to squeeze into most 9 month clothes, but will be wearing 12 month clothes very soon.  He is now able to roll both ways and can sit with support (although he tips over VERY easily).  His favorite thing in the world is to be held...preferably by Mommy.  He also like his exersaucer, his doorway jumper & sitting in his high chair.  He absolutely adores his big brother and watches Garrett at all times.  He tries very hard to reach for Garrett's toys & to get Garrett's attention.  Garrett, for the most part, is still great with Sawyer, although he is NOT a fan of having his toys touched.  Boy is he in for a shock when Sawyer starts crawling!
Sawyer is still taking Neocate formula & seems to be doing very well on it.  As for solids, after a few horrible episodes following sweet potatoes, we decided to go to just plain old rice cereal.  So, he is now getting organic brown rice cereal twice a day & seems to be doing well with that (other than it making him constipated).  So, the plan is to keep him on this for a bit and then SLOWLY try to introduce some other foods, probably starting with squash this time.
He now has two bottom teeth and chews on absolutely anything he can get his hands on.  He loves to babble and to squeal loudly when he's excited.  He is starting to nap better during the day, although we still have some work to do.  He is not yet sleeping through the night and is usually up at least twice (sometimes 3 times) every night.  I am not one bit surprised by this considering that Garrett was around 9 months old before he was sleeping through the night.

Happy 6 month birthday, Sawyer!!!!
