Surgery Update...

So, after all of this time of waiting, my ultrasound this week showed that I still had some remaining tissue that I haven't passed. I am scheduled for surgery on Friday to have a D&C to remove everything and to, hopefully, be "back to normal". The surgery itself is pretty simple and should only take about 20-30 minutes, although I will have to be under general anesthesia. The recovery should also be pretty easy. The doctor feels like I will be up and around after a day or two and will probably just be groggy from the anesthesia. So, everyone say a little prayer that things go as easily as they should and I am hoping that by Monday I am good as new!
